According to a study by the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), the UK-returnee, who died in solitary confinement in a Sylhet hospital on Sunday, was not diagnosed with coronavirus.

Samples taken from her body tested negative, said Dr Debapada Ray, Health Manager, division Sylhet, quoting the report.

He added that the woman, aged around 61, had died from other complications.

She returned from London on March 4 and suffered from problems with fatigue, cough and breathing and was admitted to hospital on March 20.
