A man was killed in a road accident in Dhaka’s Satrasta area of Tejgaon, despite roads in the city being vacant as public transport services started suspending this morning.
The man’s name, aged around 30 years, could not be immediately identified.
On facts, police recovered the blood-stained body from near the Satrasta area flyover around 5:00am and sent it to autopsy morgue at Dhaka Medical College, said Tejgaon Industrial Police Station sub-inspector Tawhidul Islam.
“We believe he was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road. The cause of his death will be determined by autopsy,” he said.
